YouTube is used to share personal videos with everyone online while viewers can comment, like, dislike and subscribe to someone’s channel.

An example of how this tool can be used to assist in Literacy education;

A video can be used instead of flashcards to introduce a particular topic and to learn new vocabulary words. A channel can also be created for the class and learners can refer to it to revise or even upload videos themselves.
